Agro firm Rodina

At first, the Agrotour in Central Kazakhstan starts with visiting Agro firm Rodina. It is located 80 km far from Astana city. This agro firm is a multi-developed agricultural organization. They use the latest technologies. The union of science and practice allows them to get excellent results. They cover not only production and storage but also sales of high-quality products. For example, there are grains and elite seeds, milk and its processing, meat, fruit and vegetable products.

Barayev – Myktykol

On the second day, you will visit the Scientific-Productional Centre Of Grain Farming named after A.I Barayev. The center is located 80 km away from Astana. After visiting the museum, you can see experiences of local scientists in the development of new varieties of grain. Excursion at the grain field. In may there will be planting of grains. You can see the process of planting in the field.
Then there will be en route visiting of ethnic village Myktykol. There you will be met by the eldest of the village. You will be invited to the Kazakh national yurt and have a dinner.

Day 1

Astana – Agro firm

Arrival to Astana. Check-in at a hotel. Transfer for the tour at Agro firm Rodina (80 km from Astana). This agro firm is a multi-developed agricultural organization, where the latest technologies are used, and the union of science and practice allows them to get excellent results. Production, storage and sale of high quality products: – Grains and elite seeds; – Milk and its processing; – Meat; – Fruit and vegetable products; – The provision of agricultural services; – Production and sale of construction materials. Lunch at the firm. Afternoon drive back to Astana. Short city tour around the city.

Day 2

Barayev – Myktykol – Astana

Breakfast. Transfer for the tour at the Scientific-Productional Centre Of Grain Farming named after A.I Barayev (80 km). Visiting the museum, where you can see experiences of local scientists in the development of new varieties of grain. Excursion at the grain field (7 km from center). In May there will be planting of grains. You can see the process of planting in the field. Lunch on the route.
Afternoon drive back to Astana. En route visiting of ethnic village Myktykol, where you will be met by the eldest of the village. You will be invited to the Kazakh national yurt and have a dinner. During dinner small show. Drive back to Astana.

Day 3

Astana – Almaty

Breakfast. Visiting of EXPO 2017 objects. Visit pavilions “World Energy”, ”Energy for the future”, ”Energy for All”. See architectural building of modern times of Astana. After lunch transfer to airport for flight to Almaty at 15:40. 17:20 arrival to Almaty. dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4

Almaty

Breakfast. Transfer for the excursion at vineyards near Almaty. Arba Wine is largest wine company in Kazakhstan, which is located in Karakemer (about 85 km from Almaty). There grow about 200 hectares of vineyards of different varieties. Lunch at the vineyard. Afternoon transfer to the excursion at the gardens. There you can walk through the fruit and berry gardens, learn about many kinds of fruits and berries that grow on our land. You can see the flowering of apple trees, wild apricot and other fruits and berries. After excursion drive back to Almaty.

Day 5

Tamgaly

Breakfast. Transfer to the excursion at Camel Farm (110 km) . The biggest camel farm of Kazakhstan “Daulet-Beket” provides the whole Almaty region with “shubat”, 122 km away from Almaty. Tasting of the national drink, made from camel milk named “shubat’. Lunch at the camel farm. Afternoon transfer to the excursion at Tamgaly. The biggest and known collection of petroglyphs of Kazakhstan, UNESCO World Heritage Site, the most famous center of the 50 centers of petroglyphs of Semirechye, the basin of Lake Balkhash. After excursion drive back to Almaty.

Day 6

Almaty

Breakfast. Transfer to the excursion at Horse Farm (80 km). This farm is inhabited by almost 5000 horses and other animals, such as cows and sheep. Lunch at the farm. If you want can ride a horse. After lunch we drive back to Almaty.

Day 7

Turgen gorge – Issyk lake

Breakfast. Transfer to the excursion at bee farm (70 km from Almaty). After visiting of farm transfer to the excursion at Turgen waterfall. Turgen Gorge in the Ili-Alatau National Park (90 km from Almaty) is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of nature. The gorge has hot springs, a trout farm, waterfalls and thick forests. Lunch at Turgen. After lunch transfer to the excursion at Issyk Lake. Many archaeological monuments, barrows, burial grounds Golden Man were found here. Visit Issyk museum. After excursion drive back to Almaty.
